The Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act 2005, section 57 sets out clear guidelines and penalties for dog owners on public land but unfortunately not all dog owners are responsible. Playground fencing helps to provide a clean and safe environment for children to play free from dog faeces and the risk of disease and violent attacks from stray and uncontrolled animals. The boundary also helps to ensure young children do not run straight out into the path of oncoming vehicles.At Steelway Fensecure we have been providing playground fencing for over 25 years and understand the importance of ensuring our playground fencing is safe and free from entrapment and manufactured to BS 1722 Part 9. Quality is important to us so all of our playground fencing is welded and galvanized as standard.
Available in several designs, bar sizes and finishes we provide animal grids, stiles and matching pedestrian and vehicle access gates. Supplied in a galvanized finish as standard or galvanized and polyester powder coated with a choice of colours. Our playground fencing can be manufactured to suit gradients, create curves to a form an interesting playground space, and have laser cut profiles to add character and individual style or have a steel or timber bark retainer. We can also manufacture the fencing to match the layout of the site saving you the hard work on site adapting standard panels to fit.
